Gents- I finally flew my “Vanish 29” this weekend at Delamar Dry Lake, NV for an attempt at the I altitude record. I didn’t get my tower done in time, so I flew with a fly-away rail guide. Unfortunately, it stuck on the rocket for way longer than planned. Still, I believe the flight beat the current record. Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/WaH9kI0dRgY I attached the EasyMini flight file, 2 photos from after the flight for the web page, and a couple screenshots from AltosUI showing some of the flight data. Of note, the Easymini’s max height reported 14596ft, but if you look at the raw data it looks like about 14506 is maybe the real peak. Your call on that, of course. James- big thanks for all the rules clarification emails over the last 6 months. I really appreciate the help! Is there anything else I can provide for the records committee?
